Account Deletion and Data Rights

You control your MANWRD account and certain personal-data settings directly in the app.

1. Delete your account in the app

Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account and follow the confirmation steps. Account deletion is designed to be immediate. It removes your live MANWRD account and the related application data, including your profile, settings, conversations, memories, tasks, check-ins, devices and push tokens.

2. Important limits of deletion

• Deleting your MANWRD account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel that separately through Apple before deleting if you do not want it to renew.
• Some anonymised reliability records may remain without your account identifier.
• Email-delivery records, provider logs and backups may remain with our service providers for their ordinary retention periods.
• Anthropic-held records are governed by Anthropic's applicable terms and retention practices. Apple keeps records it controls, including purchase records, under its own policies.

3. Manage memories

In Settings > Memory, you can view saved memories, edit or delete individual memories, delete all memories and turn memory off. Turning memory off stops new memory capture and use of existing memories for new Mentor responses. It does not delete conversation history; delete your account if you want your conversations removed from our live system.

4. Export your data

You can use Settings > Account > Export My Data to export available account data. You can also export memories from the Memory section. If you cannot access the app, contact hello@manwrd.com and we will explain the available options after verifying your identity.

5. Other privacy requests

To request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability where applicable, email hello@manwrd.com. Include the email address connected to your MANWRD account and describe your request. We may request information needed to verify that you are the account holder before acting.
